HORACIO CARBONETTI became the first Argentinian to win on the European Seniors Tour when he closed with a one-under-par 69 to win the Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open in Switzerland.

Carbonetti claimed a three-shot victory over Australia’s David Good to continue his fine recent form.

He finished fourth at last week’s De Vere PGA Seniors Championship, and never looked likely to miss out on the £16,905 first prize after doubling his two-shot overnight advantage with birdies on the 480-yard par-five fourth and the 348-yard par-four seventh.
