Ian O’Flynn (4) scorched round Harbour Point to set a new record of 67 (five under par) at the weekend.

Danny Logan (14) equalled the course record of 65 at Coosheen with an outstanding 46 points; boy international David Daly (1) compiled a brilliant 42 pts at Muskerry (66 gross) to win the Sunday singles; 16-year-old Séamus Abbott (Bantry Bay) went round the Coosheen links in 71 gross to put himself in line for a place in the Daily Telegraph final while former Glen Rovers hurler Conor Riordan (5) scored a one under par 70 to win the Bulmers Junior Scratch Cup at Muskerry.
