Special debut for Olympic golfers

A TEAM of Special Olympic golfers from St Patrick's, Upton make their debut in big-time competition tomorrow when they contest the Munster regional final at Harbour Point.

They will be joined by other Cork competitors, as well as representatives from Limerick, Waterford and Ennis. The movement has had a rapid growth in the last four years.

Now it is full-scale competitive fare with singles and foursomes on the programme.

So a visit to Harbour Point, a club that has played a key role in the Association's development, tomorrow morning should prove rewarding indeed.
