O’Sullivan leading Irishman at Wentworth

Denis O’Sullivan was the leading Irishman at the Travis Perkins Senior Masters as Argentine Eduardo Romero captured his maiden European Seniors Tour title at Wentworth.

The Corkman failed to break par around the Edinburgh Course, carding rounds of 74, 78 and 72 for a three round total of eight over par 224, and a share of 38th place.

Next were Paul Leonard on nine over and Eddie Polland on plus 12, while Liam Higgins’s nightmare continued with the Waterville golfer signing for an 80 to finish 21 over.
