FORMER world number one and Masters champion Ian Woosnam reckons golf has stopped being fun.

It did not look that way as the Welshman, 45 last Sunday, scored an eventful 66 in the second round of the Dubai Desert Classic yesterday.

But Woosnam, who goes into the weekend one behind joint leaders Ernie Els, Alastair Forsyth, David Lynn and Mikko Ilonen, is greatly saddened by the way technology has transformed the sport.
