'Nervous' Duval returns to the big stage

THE world of golf welcomes back David Duval today and he admits he is "very nervous" about it.

An emotional Duval spoke today about his return, at the US Open no less, from over six months out of a sport that has made him a multi-millionaire.

And the former world number one offered an insight into the depth of the personal despair which accompanied his slump all the way down to his current ranking of 434th.
