Clarke punching weight

IT'S all very fine to lose something like 38lbs and get under 16 stone for the first time in years. But you still have to be careful taking the label off a new piece of clothing!

Having thrown out the old gear, Darren Clarke is still replenishing his wardrobe and managed to cut a nice half inch incision on his left thumb when an awkward metal tag won yesterday's argument.

Luckily, given the week that's in it, the damage isn't serious and last year's first round leader after a round of 66 is in great shape going into his seventh Masters.
