Waugh victory in Thailand

Having topped the leaderboard on the three previous days at the Alpine Golf and Sports Club in Pathumthani, near Bangkok, the 35-year-old shot a final-round 73 which allowed Nocera to catch her at six under with a level-par 72.

The pair went back to the 18th for sudden death and Waugh drew on her 14 years of experience on the Ladies European Tour to par the hole while her opponent could muster only a double-bogey six.
