Adare ranked leading Irish golf resort

ADARE Golf Club has been ranked number one golf resort in Ireland and number three after Turnberry and Gleneagles in the Scotland/Ireland category by Conde Nast readership poll in the US.

The club, which opened 10 years ago, has also just been officially affiliated to the GUI.

Mr. Robert Butler, the Co Limerick developer and builder, has been elected first captain of the club and Mrs. Noreen McManus, wife of Mr. JP McManus, has been voted first lady captain.

Her husband’s Invitation Charity Pro-Am on July 4-5 will include world number one Tiger Woods.
