The Scottish golfer and the Irish caddy involved in one of golf’s recent great major moments are again to join forces.

Paul Lawrie is hoping to rekindle his 1999 British Open glory days after re-signing champion Irish caddy Paddy Byrne.

Byrne replaces Dubliner Colin Byrne (no relation) who twice won caddying over the past three years for the Scot.
