Kilcummin v Ballymacelligott, Kilcummin, 5.30pm.

Ballymac were no slouches in Fossa’s group but Kilcummin have built up a head of steam. Verdict: Kilcummin.

Desmonds v Firies, Currow, 3pm.

Desmonds can put their bad luck behind them and survive. Verdict: Desmonds.

Castlegregory v Annascaul, Castlegregory, 3pm.

Margins will be tight in this derby. Castlegregory to just hold sway. Verdict: Castlegregory.

Churchill v Duagh, Churchill, 5.30pm.

Churchill made waves in their group and Duagh might be swept aside. Verdict: Churchill.

Keel v Dromid Pearses, Keel, 5.30pm.

Keel’s scoring abilities seem to be much stronger than Pearses’. Verdict: Keel.

Waterford IHC final.

Ballyduff Upper v Roanmore, Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field, 6pm.

Last year’s runners-up can go one better. Verdict: Roanmore.

Abbeyside-Ballinacourty v Mount Sion, Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field, 4pm.

Waterford SHC final Ballygunner v Fourmilewater, Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field, 2.30pm (S. Kearney, De La Salle) Live TG4.

Rhythm sure counts for a lot in the Waterford senior hurling championship when it is played off at a rollicking rate and Ballygunner have plenty of it. Fourmilewater have been keeping beat too but they will have to do so much to stay with the tempo generated by the 12-in-a-row champions. In their last three final appearances, their scoring total have surpassed 30 points and their greatest concession was 21. Fourmilewater have players who can punch holes and Seán Walsh could be a right nuisance up front but there are just too many variables counting against the challengers. For one, the Ballygunner bench is only getting stronger. Verdict: Ballygunner.

Fossa v Listowel Emmets, Fossa 3pm.

Some greenshoots have appeared in Emmets but Fossa are in mean form. Verdict: Fossa.

Beaufort v John Mitchels, Beaufort, 1pm.

Beaufort completed a tidy group run but they have to be wary of Mitchels’ scoring power. Verdict: Beaufort.

Laune Rangers v Glenflesk, JP O’Sullivan Park, Killorglin, 4pm.

Glenflesk were a distant second to Beaufort and Laune Rangers have designs on bigger things. Verdict: Laune Rangers.

Glenbeigh-Glencar v St Mary’s, Cahirciveen, Cahirciveen, 2pm.

It’s deeply worrying for St Mary’s that have been putting up so few scores. Verdict: Glenbeigh-Glencar.
