RTÉ Coverage of the FIFA World Cup final will clash with The Sunday Game night show following the All-Ireland SHC final between Limerick and Galway.

Kick-off in the soccer showpiece between Spain and England/Argentina is at 8pm, and with the scheduled half-time show - featuring Madonna, Shakira, BTS, Burna Boy and Justin Bieber - likely to run past the usual allotted time of 15 minutes, the final will not conclude until after 10pm even without extra-time and penalties.

Reports suggest the half-time line-up might break governing body FIFA’s rules by extending the interval to up to 25 minutes.
