I don’t doubt that Cork enjoyed the trip home Sunday from Nowlan Park after that win over Kilkenny.

Obviously, winning any game makes the journey back more enjoyable, but Ben O’Connor and the management will be particularly happy with how the new players slotted in. Introducing new faces can be a challenge when a team is relatively experienced, but Cork’s newcomers showed up well.
