Cork Junior A FC fixtures postponed, Munster club clashes go ahead

The Cork Junior A Football Championship semi-final clashes have been postponed following Storm Claudia.Â
Following early morning pitch inspections, the pitches at Páirc Uà Rinn and Glenville were deemed unplayable.
The last-four meetings of both Charleville-Kilmacabea and Nemo Rangers-Donoughmore will be refixed for next weekend.
A statement on the postponements read: "Following pitch inspections this morning, unfortunately, due to unplayable pitches, the County Junior A Football Semi-Finals, Charleville v Kilmacabea and Nemo Rangers v Donoughmore are hereby postponed.
"The CCC will be refixing both games next weekend."
Meanwhile, the three Munster club fixtures at Clonmel - St Finbarr's-Clonmel Commercials, Lemybrien - Cahir-Kilrossanty, and Knockaderry -Kilbrittain-Knockaderry - have survived the elements.Â
A Munster GAA statement read: "Following pitch inspections this morning, the AIB Munster Club Championship matches scheduled today for Clonmel, Lemybrien and Knockaderry go ahead as planned."
