Limerick will have two home games to see out their 2026 National Hurling League campaign.
The penultimate round match at home to Cork under lights on Saturday, March 7 had already been confirmed but Galway will also head to TUS Gaelic Grounds on Saturday, March 22.
Micheál Donoghue’s side will head south for the second year in a row as part of their agreement in 2024 when Limerick surrendered home advantage as TUS Gaelic Grounds was not available.
On the flipside to Limerick, Kilkenny are set to be on the road for their final couple of games against Galway and Tipperary. Waterford city’s Walsh Park is due to host all three of The Déise’s home games against Limerick on February 1, Offaly on February 8 and Tipperary on March 8.
To avoid a clash with the final round of the National Football League that same weekend, the conclusion of the hurling competition proper is pencilled in to take place a day earlier on Saturday, March 21.
Meanwhile, Cork’s return commutes in next year’s NFL Division 2 will come close to 3,000km. As revealed last week, John Cleary’s side will travel to face Louth, Offaly, Derry and Tyrone across February and March.
Louth could designate Grattan Park in Inniskeen, Co Monaghan as their home venue for the fixture but used both it and Drogheda’s Integral GAA Grounds last year. Cork have back-to-back away trips to Offaly and Louth in February but there is a gap weekend between the fixtures.
