Charleville finish strong to progress to junior semi-final

Charleville kicked seven of the last eight points against Ballygarvan

 

Cork JFC quarter-final: Charleville 0-15 Ballygarvan 0-11 

This McCarthy Insurances Co JAFC quarter final at Glenville in Saturday was played in wet conditions. Both sides had their moments. Charleville dominated the opening 12 minutes but were unable to get on the scoresheet. Ballygarvan opened with an Evan O'Connor point. The South East side hit a purple patch with their second point on 10 minutes by Niall Dowd. Jesse Smith saved well from Evan O'Connor.
