Across Shandon divide, CBC and Gaelcholáiste Mhuire AG prepare for Harty Cup derby

Christians rejoined the Munster schools hurling elite 10 years ago last month. They very quickly took over as the dominant nursery on Cork City’s northside. A semi-final appearance in 2018 was followed by back-to-back final appearances, albeit neither delivered the desired result.

POINTING OUT there is less than a mile of road between them would be one way of illustrating the derby nature of Wednesday's Cork city northside Harty Cup clash between Gaelcholáiste Mhuire AG and Christian Brothers College.
