WITH the cannister canned, Jack back on board and the team holiday delights of Nashville, Tennessee and Mexico to look forward to for Kerry’s All-Ireland winners, the Kingdom ought to be positively giddy ahead of the senior football championship semi-finals this weekend.

These days are for savouring. Everyone bate and the hay saved sort-of-vibe. Eight of Kerry’s July heroes will be on show with the side order of inter-county captaincy up for debate too. Paul Geaney with the 2026 armband in a swansong season? How bad.
