Clare GAA begins search for new head of operations as Deirdre Murphy departs

Murphy said she enjoyed "three wonderful years" in the job.

Clare GAA has confirmed that their head of operations Deirdre Murphy will depart her role following the county convention on December 16th. Murphy, a former Clare camogie player and founding member of the Women's GPA, had been appointed in September 2022. She is set to take up a role in the private sector.

A recruitment process will now begin with the Banner hopeful of having a successor in place by early 2026.
