Adrigole cruised into the semi finals of the McCarthy Insurance Group Cork IAFC after they beat Ballinora by 2-14 to 1-10 in Moneyvollahne on Saturday afternoon.

They ended up the only side with a perfect record after the group section as goals from Connie O'Shea and Neil O'Sullivan saw them finish on top of Group 1.

They were also helped by a 0-3 contribution from Charlie O'Sullivan while Cian O'Shea and Tom O'Connor both raised orange flags. Robert Quirke clipped 1-3 for Ballinora while Kevin Werner and Mark O'Brien both shot 0-2.

Kilmurry's 2-11 to 0-9 win over Boherbue in Clondrohid saw them take top spot in Group 3 as well as the other semi-final spot that was on offer.

Rory Duggan led the way for the Muskerry men with 1-2, William Ronan bagged the other goal while Ruadhán Ó Cuaraoin clipped 0-3.

Boherbue needed the win to extend their summer, and though David O'Connor ended up with 0-4, the Duhallow men ended up in third place.

Gabriel Rangers took top spot in Group 2 after they beat Dromtarriffe by 0-20 to 1-10 in Castletownkenneigh.

The West Cork men will play Ballinora in the quarter finals while Dromtarriffe face a relegation playoff against St Vincent's.

That's after the northsiders lost by 1-14 to 1-5 against Ilen Rovers in Ahiohill. Barry Collins grabbed the vital goal for Ilen, Adrian O'Driscoll shot 0-5 while Dan McEoin scored 0-4. Benjamin Long raised the green flag for Vincent's.

Ilen finished in second spot in Group 3 and will now play Mitchelstown in the final six after the Avondhu men beat Kildorrery by 3-13 to 0-9 in Doneraile to take second spot in Group 2 with Michael Walsh amongst the goalscorers.

Finally, Glanworth and St Finbarr's clashed in Group 1 hoping to stave off relegation.

The city side took the spoils with 0-5 from Cian O'Sullivan helping them to a 0-15 to 2-6 win. David Pyne shot 2-5 for Glanworth, and the point they earned in Round 2 against Ballinora kept them safe.
