SAME as the hurling, the Cork football senior championship has shown scant appreciation for suspense. Business has been taken care of incredibly early and so the scope for final round drama is practically non-existent. 

With a round of Premier SFC group fare still remaining, five of the six advancing spots have already been filled and taken. Castlehaven, Newcestown, St Finbarr’s, Carrigaline, and Nemo Rangers have all successfully purchased early bird tickets to the knockout stages.
