'Outstanding contribution': Cork GAA release statement following Pat Ryan's decision to step down

Ryan confirmed on Saturday morning that he would not be remaining in the role heading into the 2026 season and beyond.

Cork GAA have thanked departing senior hurling boss Pat Ryan for his "outstanding contribution" as the county's senior hurling manager.

Ryan issued a statement earlier on Saturday through his club, Sarsfields, noting his intention to step down after three seasons in charge of the Cork senior hurlers.
