Cork GAA have thanked departing senior hurling boss Pat Ryan for his "outstanding contribution" as the county's senior hurling manager.

Ryan issued a statement earlier on Saturday through his club, Sarsfields, noting his intention to step down after three seasons in charge of the Cork senior hurlers.
