Not for the first time one suspects, an error with a two-point play has caused confusion and there is a row brewing as St. Senan's believed they had beaten Currow 0-24 to 1-20 in the Kerry Petroleum Junior Premier Football Championship.
The club had even put it up on its social media channels before the official score sent by the referee to Kerry GAA gave the result as 1-20 to 0-23, a draw. The match official is understood to have written down a two-pointer for St Senan's as a one-point score. He agreed that he had made the error but because the play had resumed and Currow had scored a point at the other end, it had to remain as a one-pointer.
