Limerick’s Kyle Hayes was hospitalised following an incident in the first half of Kildimo-Pallaskenry’s senior championship Group 2 game in Rathkeale on Friday.
Five-time All-Ireland SHC winner Hayes underwent an MRI scan and was put in a neck brace after he was concussed by a foul by Newcastle West full-back Maurice Murphy 17 minutes into the second round game in Seán Finn Park.
