LAST October when the interprovincial series was played in Croke Park to trial the proposed rules enhancements, Jim McGuinness was an interested spectator on both nights.
Many of the inter-county managers were involved with their provincial teams but McGuinness and his entire management watched the four games as a group from a suite in the Hogan Stand as they sought to figure out the best way forward in the new world.
