6:21pm: Tomás Ó Se: 'That draw won't be long tuning Kerry in.' Conor Glass: 'That's the draw Tyrone wanted. They are going to love that'. Conor Glass predicts a Donegal v Tyrone final.
6:16pm: The All-Ireland SFC semi-final draw: Tyrone v Kerry; Donegal v Meath. The games will be played on July 12 and 13.
As Kerry had played Meath in the group stage and Donegal had faced Tyrone, those sides were unable to be drawn against each other. So, in one pot they had Donegal and Tyrone, and the other Kerry and Meath.
6:13pm: Kieran McGeeney: 'It's difficult. We went to sleep five points up. We thought we were on the pig's back but then couldn't win kick outs. We were in a good position but were a wee bit sloppy in possession. That 15 minutes wouldn't be (Armagh). Kerry had their shooting boots on and we got punished. We did OK this year but wanted to do better.'
6:07pm: The All-Ireland SFC semi-final draw is coming up shortly on RTÉ. Donegal, Tyrone, Kerry and Meath are the teams in the last four.
6:05pm: Jason Foley: 'There are a lot of tired bodies in there but a lot of satisfaction as well. When you're written off, it adds a bit of fuel to the fire. After the Meath game, we had a reality check and went back to the drawing board.'
6pm: Tomás Ó Sé: 'Everybody, family members, were writing off Kerry.'
5:55pm: Jack O'Connor: 'Very proud of the players. They were under big pressure coming into the game and they performed in a cauldron. In the dressing room at half-time, there was great leadership shown by the players. We felt we were playing well. We had a purple patch in the third quarter. Micheál Burns had the game of his life. People were writing the likes of Seanie O'Shea off, saying Kerry were a one-man team. He lifted his game to new levels. It's heartwarming because we knew the performance against Meath wasn't us. Meath are a good team as they showed today. We lost Tom O'Sullivan today but getting Paudie Clifford on the pitch was great. There will be some sore bodies. Our physios will be busy this week.'
5:48pm: Conor Glass on RTÉ: 'Kerry are going to take some stopping now.'
5:44pm: Seán O'Shea is the man of the match. O'Shea: 'We were written off. People weren't giving us a chance, even down at home. People don't know what goes on in out dressing room. We just said we'd throw the shackles off. We were coming in as underdogs. I thought Joe O'Connor really stood up in the second half. We really turned the screw. People have talked about our squad, that we don't have strength and depth. We know the standard of our squad.'
Seán O'Shea said there was a special energy in Kerry this week at the thoughts of playing Armagh

5:43pm: Tomás Ó Sé: 'One of the best team performances I've seen by Kerry in years. Armagh allowed them to play football in the second half. At the back, Kerry were heroic. That was an important Kerry win.'
5:42pm: Kerry are through to the All-Ireland semi-final. Reigning champions Armagh have been dethroned. That was a stunning second half by Kerry, in particular how they dominated the Armagh kickout after the Ulster side went up by four.
70 mins: The hooter goes moments after Micheál Burns kicks a wide, just Kerry's second of the second half. Rian O'Neill adds a consolation point. ARM 1-21 KER 0-32
68 mins: Armagh look for a goal from the 45 but Kerry win the ball. Tomás Kennedy is on for Kerry in place of Graham O'Sullivan.
67 mins: Rian O'Neill shoots for goal from a 13m free but it's blocked by a wall of Kerry players. They get another close-in free and go short this time to Shane McPartland. It's blocked again and goes out for a 45.
65 mins: Seanie O'Shea has 12 points now. He has been awesome. ARM 1-20 KER 0-32
64 mins: Barry McCambridge bursts forward and Armagh eye a goal but Kerry snuff it out.
63 mins: Kerry have largely silenced Croke Park. Like a winning away Ryder Cup team. Some shouts of Kerry but they have stunned and been stunning. Ten up with eight to play.
62 mins: Oísín Conaty kicks a two-pointer for Armagh to bring them to within eight. Killian Spillane is on for Dylan Geaney. ARM 1-20 KER 0-31
61 mins: Micheál Burns scores his second point since coming on 12 minutes ago. ARM 1-18 KER 0-31
58 mins: Two saves by Shane Ryan restrict Armagh to just a point by Cian McConville. ARM 1-18 KER 0-30
56 mins: Rian O'Neill gets Armagh's first point in 15 minutes but then David Clifford launches over a two-pointer at the other end. Micheál Burns is back on the pitch for Kerry. ARM 1-17 KER 0-30
55 mins: Micheál Burns goes off and is replaced by Dara Moynihan. A couple of substitutes for Armagh: Ben Crealey off and Cian McConville is on, Tiernan Kelly off and Aidan Forker on.
55 mins: Graham O'Sullivan adds to the Kerry onslaught with his second point of the game. ARM 1-16 KER 0-28.
54 mins: Kerry trail 0-14 to 1-16 Kerry lead 0-27 to 1-16. A phenomenal 12-minute and 13-point swing.
53 mins: Ó Beaglaoich, White, Paudie Clifford have all just added their second points. Ruling the Armagh kick-out. Ruling it. Armagh have lost the last 10 kick-outs.
53 mins: David Clifford, quiet for much of this game, puts Kerry eight up. ARM 1-16 KER 0-27.
53 mins: Kerry are devouring Armagh's kickout. Paudie Clifford gets his second of the game, fisting it over. ARM 1-16 KER 0-26
52 mins: Gavin White gets his second of the game from Kerry.. They lead by six. ARM 1-16 KER 0-25
51 mins: Another Kerry point. This time Brian Ó Beaglaoich. So many Kerry players have upped their performances in this second half. ARM 1-16 KER 0-24
51 mins: Kerry kicking points for fun at the moment but the Armagh push has to come.
50 mins: Great impact by Burns. He dummies, moves inside the Armagh defence into space and launches a kick over the bar. ARM 1-16 KER 0-23
49 mins: Micheál Burns is on for Mark O'Shea. Conor Turbitt is on for Ross McQuillan.
48 mins: Kerry appear to claim for a penalty there but they're getting nothing from Brendan Cawley there. Enda McGinley suggests on commentary for RTÉ that Kerry may have had a case.
47 mins: Nice interplay from Kerry and David Clifford gets the little bit of space he needs to kick a point. ARM 1-16 KER 0-22
47 mins: This is a sensational stretch by Kerry. Sean O'Shea started it with his third two, this time with his left. Five scores in a row, a seven point run. David Clifford had one point from four shots before he slotted a superb two-pointer.
46 mins: Jarly Óg Burns, with his head bandaged, is back on for Armagh
46 mins: Joe O'Connor has come alive. Has scored two second-half points and enjoying the left wing more than the right where he was in the first half. Kerry up by 2.
45 mins: Joe O'Connor wins a free for Kerry. Seán O'Shea kicks it over and Kerry extend their lead to two. ARM 1-16 KER 0-21
44 mins: Two-pointer by David Clifford. Kerry lead. ARM 1-16 KER 0-20
44 mins: Sean O'Shea in double figures with his third two-pointer. Kerry have weathered the early second half Armagh storm.
42 mins: Seán O'Shea is Kerry's star today. He kicks another two-pointer. Then, Paudie Clifford gets his first since coming on at half-time. ARM 1-16 KER 0-18
42 mins: Across four kickouts - two on either side - Armagh won three and mined 0-4 in the process. Kerry won the next two, one on either side, and while they engineered a white flag off their own, David Clifford should have punished Rafferty’s subsequent restart when kicking short.
40 mins: Great start to the second half for Armagh. Rian O'Neill gets his third point of the half, and fourth of the game. At the other end, Joe O'Connor gets a badly needed score for Kerry. ARM 1-16 KER 0-15
38 mins: Oisín Conaty darts between Kerry defenders and gets his fourth point of the game. Dylan Geaney hits a wide for Kerry at the other end. ARM 1-15 KER 0-14
37 mins: Jarly Óg Burns goes off the have a cut to his head repaired. Jason Duffy is on as a blood sub. Rian O'Neill nails a two-point free. That's a three-point lead for Armagh. ARM 1-14 KER 0-14
36 mins: Joe O'Connor strides forward. His shot clips the top of the bar and goes over. Kerry trail by one now. ARM 1-12 KER 0-14
35 mins: The second half is underway. Darragh McMullan fists over a point for Armagh. ARM 1-12 KER 0-13
4:55pm: Roll of the dice from Kerry: Paudie Clifford is on.
4:54pm: Tomás Ó Sé: "Everyone is saying Armagh are the top team in the country. Ah, I don't know."
4:45pm: 70,530 in Croke Park.
4:43pm: Let's do a quick numbers deep dive. This could not be closer. Armagh had 16 shots, Kerry had 17. Armagh have scored 1-4 from Shane Ryan's kickout, Kerry have 0-5 from Ethan Rafferty's. Jack O'Connor and his side can't afford another mistake like the one that resulted in Rory Grugan's goal.
4:42pm: R. Grugan (1-0); O. Conaty (0-3); J. Burns (tp), E. Rafferty (tpf) (0-2 each); J. McElroy (0-2); T. Kelly (0-1), R O'Neill (0-1). S. O’Shea (0-8, 2 tps, 2 frees); B. O’Beaglaoich, G. White, D. Clifford, G. O’Sullivan, D. Geaney (0-1 each).
4:40pm: Joe McElroy's second point ensures Armagh lead at the break. They have been slightly the more dangerous. Seán O'Shea's long-range kicking has been a highlight of the half. David Clifford has shown the odd flash but has two wides and only a point to his name. When Armagh push forward, they look like they can break Kerry at will but there has been some great acts of defending from the likes of Jason Foley and Gavin White.
4:39pm: 10 of the 12 starting forwards have had a shot. 8 of them have scored. Sean O'Shea has 0-8 scored already. This is the new game!
4:39pm: Paudie Clifford is warming up in front of the Hogan Stand. Played the last 14 against Cavan, is he to feature earlier here? Has disappeared down the tunnel.
35 mins: Just as the hooter goes, Joe McElroy gives Armagh the lead heading into the break. ARM 1-11 KER 0-13
33 mins: Dylan Geaney finds himself in space and goes for a two-pointer but it's wide, Kerry's fourth.
32 mins: The teams are level. Ethan Rafferty kicks a two-point free off the deck. ARM 1-10 KER 0-13
32 mins: Maybe the roll call isn’t required, but Tom O’Sullivan’s injury-enforced departure seven minutes ago is another name onto Kerry’s middle-third missing persons list. There’s Mike Breen, Diarmuid O’Connor, Barry Dan O’Sullivan, Paudie Clifford, who is listed as a sub, and Tony Brosnan. That's a roll call the Kingdom really wish they had present, even if the scoreline has them two in front and they've responded so well to the self-inflicted goal.
31 mins: Kerry go two ahead through Dylan Geaney. The Kingdom have wiped out that Rory Grugan goal. ARM 1-8 KER 0-13
29 mins: And Kerry go back ahead with Seán O'Shea's second two-pointer, his seventh score in total. ARM 1-8 KER 0-12
28 mins: Goal for Armagh. What was Dylan Casey thinking? Tiernan Kelly sneaks in behind him and provides Grugan with the assist for the goal. Quick Kerry kick-out and Seán O'Shea scores his fifth point from play. ARM 1-8 KER 0-10 John Fogarty

— The GAA (@officialgaa) June 29, 2025
27 mins: Oisín Conaty's third of the game makes it two between the teams then Joe McElroy gets his first. ARM 0-8 KER 0-9
24 mins: Just before that substitution. Seanie O'Shea got his fifth point of the game. Now, Graham O'Sullivan puts Kerry up three. ARM 0-6 KER 0-9
24 mins: Another injury blow for Kerry. Dr Crokes' Evan Looney is on for Tom O'Sullivan.
23 mins: Tom O'Sullivan looks in real trouble here. The Kerry bench are talking to Evan Looney intensely, it looks like they'll be forced to make a change.
23 mins: Grimley has had a rough start for Armagh. Great interception there by Jason Foley. Looks like Evan Looney is coming on for Kerry.
22 min: Dylan Geaney drops a shot short into Ethan Rafferty's hands. Good defending by Jason Foley at the other ends wins possession for Kerry.
21 mins: Conor Geaney sprints into space but kicks a good chance wide off his right. Two wides in a row for Kerry.
20 mins: Armagh find some space in the Kerry defence and Rian O'Neill kicks them to within one. ARM 0-6 KER 0-7
18 mins: Five wides for Armagh, two for Niall Grimley. Conversion rate of 50% but have bossed possession. Kerry are wanting to move quick all the time. In these conditions, that will be tough to sustain.
16 mins: Lovely two-pointer by Jarly Óg Burns. That put a smile on his father's face. ARM 0-5 KER 0-7
15 mins: Rian O'Neill kicks a two-point effort well wide. Those wides are mounting for Armagh.
13 mins: David Clifford takes possession in midfield, gallops forward and fires over a super point. That's his first score of the game. Kerry take possession from Armagh's kickout. They win a free and Seán O'Shea kicks it over. ARM 0-3 KER 0-7
12 mins: Gavin White puts Kerry two ahead. The Dr Crokes man is Kerry's third scorer of the game. ARM 0-3 KER 0-5
11 mins: Both goalkeepers called on early, Armagh's marginally the better and Shane Ryan superb to parry it over for a bar. Kerry's determination to restart quickly is interesting.
10 mins: Current match-ups: McCambridge v Clifford; McGrane v Conor Geaney; P. Burns v Dylan Geaney; McQuillan v O’Sullivan; Kelly v O’Shea; J Burns v J. O’Connor; O’Neill v Casey; Foley v McGrane; Murphy v McMullan; Ó Beaglaoich v Conaty; White v McElroy; O’Sullivan v Grugan. John Fogarty
9 mins: Point for Armagh after Shane Ryan pulls off a great save from a shot by Tiernan Kelly. It goes over the bar. David Clifford hits a shot wide at the other end. ARM 0-3 KER 0-4
7 mins: Brian Ó Beaglaoich gets forward and has Kerry's fourth of the game. ARM 0-2 KER 0-4
6 mins: Oisín Conaty gets his and Armagh's second point of the game, leaping into the air as he kicks it over. Moments later, Kerry have a goal chance for Conor Geaney but Rafferty's saves the Dingle forward's shot. ARM 0-2 KER 0-3
4 mins: Brendan Cawley awards Armagh a free for a foul on Rian O'Neill a metre outside the 45. Ethan Rafferty ambles forward to take the kick. It goes to the right and wide. That's Armagh's second wide of the game. ARM 0-0 KER 0-1
2 mins: Seanie O'Shea pumps his fist after he fires over a two-pointer. This is the start Kerry needed. Oisín Conaty gets one back quickly for Armagh. ARM 0-1 KER 0-3.
2 mins: Seán O'Shea gives Kerry the lead from inside the arc. ARM 0-0 KER 0-1
1 min: First wide of the game is for Armagh. It was a decent goal chance for Darragh McMullan.
0 mins: Brendan Cawley throws in the ball and they are underway.
3:54pm: "You wouldn't be as confident as you would be if they were starting," Tomás Ó Sé says about Kerry's Paudie Clifford and Paul Geaney. Both have battled injury through the championship and are on the bench for today's game.
3:48pm: No changes to the Armagh team. For Kerry, Mark O'Shea is in for Micheál Burns.
3:42pm: Paudie Clifford is togged out and involved in the Kerry warm-up but he doesn't look to be moving all that freely. Paul Geaney stretching in between drills.
3:38pm: Meath boss Robbie Brennan thrilled with how his team kept playing "smart football" after Galway's two goals. He knew his team could keep "running all day". The win will be massive for Meath, he believes. "There will be a few Meath people cancelling holidays," he reckons.
3:34pm: PJ Browne will be along shortly with live play by play commentary on Kerry v Armagh, with John Fogarty and Maurice Brosnan bringing word from Croke Park.
Semi-final draw a little clearer now: If Kerry win, due to the avoidance of repeat pairings, Donegal & Tyrone will be drawn against Meath & Kerry. If Armagh win: Open draw.
3:30pm: Wonder what the Galway camp will make of the last play. 15 seconds left when Frayne addressed last free but hooter went just as Connor Gleeson about to take kickout. Seems a little bit of an inexact science.
3:28pm: Jordan Morris man of the match. "Emotions are high at the minute," he says. "Stuff of dreams."
3:27pm: Meath's ceiling was always going to be higher than that Leinster final defeat but wow. This from a county who may as well have laid out the red carpet for Kerry in Navan last year only to pull it from under them in Tullamore earlier this month. What a transformation and a lot of dues to Robbie Brennan and his group. Kerry's defeat doesn't look so bad now.
70 mins: Meath have won. Hooter sounded as Frayne's kick goes wide. No time for Galway to get the restart away. Meath are into the All-Ireland semi-final after an enthralling second half.
68 mins: Hold on. Shane Walsh drives over a two-pointer. Back to one. But Meath get the kickout away safely. Can Galway get one more possession? Meath need to keep ball for 40 seconds. They have a free now with 15 seconds left.
67 mins: Morris jinks through the Galway defence to handpass another. 1-6 for him now in a masterclass of corner forward play. Galway probably need a goal.
65 mins: The superb Jordan Morris kicks another for Meath. He has carried the fight all day for Meath. Damien Comer lofts a reply for Galway off his left. MTH 2-15 GAL 2-13
64 mins: Billy Hogan fires a 45 wide. Kicks haven't worked for him today. Paul Conroy's shot drops short for Galway. Not a great decision.
63 mins; Cathal Hickey drives inside and curls over. Have Galway emptied the tank with that five minute spell? They need another rescue act now. MTH 2-14 GAL 2-12
62 mins: GOAL for Meath. Morris. He tackled Galway's Johnny McGrath coming out, Meath worked the chance brilliantly. Costello with the final pass. Gripping quarter-final now. MTH 2-13 GAL 2-12
61 mins: Connor Gleeson has to dive to keep out Jordan Morris' first time effort off the ground. The vision of Costello to kick that pass and instinct of Morris to attempt the soccer-style goal. Marvellous save by Connor Gleeson at full stretch. . Billy Hogan puts the 45 wide. Two point game

60 mins: Eoghan Frayne picks good time to score first point. Captain's score to keep Meath afloat. MTH 1-13 GAL 2-12
59 mins: Another goal for Galway.. Free-flowing move, Liam Silke finishes it off. John Maher with the final pass. A real power play by Galway and showing their experience. 2-3 without reply.
58 mins: Damien Comer's impact on this game has been outstanding. He is destroying Meath here. Won the two-point free, won the ball for the goal and won that last free for Finnerty.
57 mins: Yellow card for Caulfield now for wrestling down Comer, who had won possession. Comer has played big part in this turnaround since his arrival. Finnerty levels from the free.
55 mins: Galway goal. Rob Finnerty sets up McDaid. What a turnaround in 60 seconds. Meath's kick-out went out, Thompson found Finnerty who offloaded to McDaid.
54 mins: Persistance was the key with that Gray goal. Solo bullocking effort. Defied a couple of times but kept going to root it into the net. Whatever panic buttons Galway have left they would need to be pressing them. Cathal Hickey yellow for a high elbow that could have brought more severe punishment. Shane Walsh bangs over a two-point free. Glimmer of Galway hope.
53 mins: Goal for Meath by Conor Gray. As messy as this game has been - Gray almost lost his balance - but effective. John Fogarty . Jordan Morris follows up wioth a point. Meath have made their move.
52 mins: Johnny McGrath has had to do a lot of heavy lifting for Galway. There are chances going a-begging for Meath, first Hickey then Caulfield.
51 mins: Conor Duke goal attempt saved by Connor Gleeson.
50 mins: Damien Comer is in for Matthew Tierney. What can the bear in the square do? Galway have been fumbling. Meath haven't been great but they haven't had to be thus far.
49 mins; Jordan Morris scores another for Meath. Galway struggling now. PaulConroy loses the ball and Meath attack again.A wide by Liam Silke after Galway win it back. Comer has arrived. Gets a 'welcome' from Ronan Ryan.
48 mins: The entire Meath sideline including county officials were alerting the linesman, fourth official and Martin McNally to that three-up infringement by Galway there.
47 mins: Galway fall foul of the three up rule. First such infraction of the game. Padraic Joyce unimpressed. Meath will kick for two. But keeper Billy Hogan slips and kicks wide. Damien Comer coming on for Galway.
46 mins: First yellow card of the game.Sean Coffey for a highish tackle. Rob Finnerty lands the free. All square at 0-9 each. Hawkeye needed for a Costello effort. It's good. Meath lead again.
45 mins: There were 36 scores including two goals at this stage of the Donegal-Monaghan game yesterday. This pair has thus far produced just 17 points
45 mins: Nasty looking aerial collision between Caulfield and Kinsella for Meath. Ref Martin McNally is alert and calls a half.
44 mins: Jordan Morris cuts inside and kicks another point off his right. Thompson kicks wide in reply. MTH 0-9 GAL 0-8
42 mins: Feels like a game for Johnny Heaney. Ghosting away from his marker and timing his run for a goal. Galway don't have a huge amount of ingenuity right now. Cillian McDaid is now on.
42 mins; Matthew Thompson levels for Galway, all his own work, after a tidy dummy solo. MTH 0-8 GAL 0-8
41 mins: Third point from Mathew Costello, this one from play. Paul Conroy on for Galway, Cian Hernon off.
40 mins: Galway's start to the second half doesn't augur well for them. They have been slack but they have a platform because Meath are losing the midfield battle again.
39 mins: Morris charges through the Galway defence but eventually overruns and loses it. Defences on top overall. Eoghan Frayne kicks wide from just inside the arc.
37 mins: Shane Walsh kicks wide, failing to capitalise on a Galway setpiece where everyone set up down the middle to create space out wide.
36 mins: Free in for Meath. Costello slots the leveller from close in. 0-7 each
2:36pm: Stefan Campbell, who is suspected to have broken his left hand and not included in the Armagh panel, wearing a large bandage on the team walkaround.
2:33pm: Is Croke Park now a concern for the Football Review Committee? Three of the four league finals were poor stuff. Dublin seem to hate the place, with flat showings against Armagh, Cork and Tyrone. For whatever reason, the new rules seem to be thriving in the rest of the country and futile in the capital
35 mins: Meath 6/12 with their shooting and without any two-pointers. They are up against a very well-drilled and disciplined defence

35 mins: Correction, Jordan Morris did attempt a two-pointer but it's the craftier team Galway who lead at the break. You also get the feeling Galway are conserving energy, this being the third game in as many weekends.
35 mins: A huge final five minutes for Galway. They struggled to get going, coughed up silly turnovers, conceded a lot of shots and still rattled off the last three points to go in ahead. Captain Sean Kelly was crucial. He scored their second last point and created their last for John Maher.
35 mins: John Maher handpasses over for the lead following the hooter. Galway have to be happy to lead having played against the breeze in a low-tempo affair. MTH 0-6 GAL 0-7
34 mins: Peter Cooke earning his start for Galway. Matthew Tierney has been the best of the Galway forwards with a couple of points. Meath really should be playing with more endeavour. They haven't attempted a two-pointer with the wind.
34 mins: Sean Kelly kicks the equaliser for Galway after Shane Walsh finds him inside the arc. No two-pointers so far. 0-6 each.
30 mins: Not many frees in this so far. Teams defending with discipline. Galway forwards drifting in and out as if they are trying to breach a Meath offside trap. Matthew Tierney fires a point after catching a wayward effort. MTH 0-6 GAL 0-5
29 mins: Donal Keogan kicks a quality score after a neat spin. Liam Silke slices one well wide at the other end. MTH 0-6 GAL 0-4
28 mins: Matthew Tierney punches a point after Matthew Thompson punched a hole in Meath. Injected a bit of pace into things. MTH 0-5 GAL 0-4
26 mins: Meath largely defending well when Galway try to make incisions. Shane Walsh dispossesed. Goes up the other end and Ruairi Kinsella curls over beautifully. Padraic Joyce looks anxious. MTH 0-5 GAL 0-3
24 mins: Matthew Thompson is leading young footballer of the year candidate but he's made a couple of mistakes in this first half. Meath may be a point up but it feels like they're showing far too much respect to Galway.
23 mins: Both sides retreating swiftly into what you might call mid-blocks. Or defending the arc I suppose. Meath switch play swiftly there tough and find Bryan Menton for a good point. MTH 0-4 GAL 0-3
21 mins: Jordan Morris gets his first point. Takes on the Galway defence and chips over with his left. All square 0-3 each.
18 mins: Dylan McHugh spurns a great goal chance when he really should have passed to Shane Walsh. But Robert Finnerty curls over with Galway's next attack. MTH 0-2 GAL 0-3
16 mins: Our lads in Croke Park there not too impressed so far. Lot of meandering across the field. Any chance they could change the rules at half-time? Hang on, it's come alive, Meath have a fine point from Mathew Costello and Galway quickly respond from Matthew Thompson.
15 mins: Like last night's second game, this hasn't been the greatest advertisement for the new rules. Cagey is too kind a word for it. There's a wind in Meath's favour yet the kings of the two-pointers are being demure.
14 mins: Meath have enjoyed the bulk of possession but need to start making the most of it. Jordan Morris has three wides and was just turned over while running in on goal.
11 mins: Seán Coffey has Meath on the board. Connor Gleeson touches the Meath man's scorching shot over the bar. Very good save by the Galway goalkeeper. MTH 0-1 GAL 0-1
7 mins: We have the opener, Shane Walsh curls over with his right foot from just outside the 21. Jordan Morris drills wide in reponse with a two-point effort. MTH 0-0 GAL 0-1
5 mins: Shane Walsh doesn't make great contact with a 45 which drifts wide into a breeze. Still scoreless. Still to ignite, as they say.
4 mins: A quick look at the early matchups. Sean Fitzgerald on Matthew Costello, Johnny McGrath on Keith Curtis, Jack Glynn on Eoghan Freyne, Cian Hernon on Jordy Morris. Sean Rafferty on Shane Walsh, Ronan Ryan on Rob Finnerty.
3 mins; Jordan Morris surges through the Galway defence but kicks wide after first spell of Meath possession. Cautious start.
2 mins: Seán Kelly moves into the half-forward line and Jack Glynn moves back. Seán Fitzgerald is picking up Mathew Costello. Seán Rafferty tracking Shane Walsh.
1 min: We're under way with a long spell of Galway possession before Peter Cooke kicks wide, but Galway have a free. Shane Walsh plays it short and they begin again.
1:38pm: Three changes for Galway and one of them is in goals where Connor Gleeson replaces Conor Flaherty. Twice Pádraic Joyce called for Gleeson to get ready to come on last week but it didn't happen. Jack Glynn and Peter Cooke come in for Paul Conroy and Peter Cooke. You'd imagine Seán Kelly will move up and Jack Glynn will slot into defence. Shane Walsh starts but it will be interesting to see how fit he is. For Meath, Mathew Costello makes a welcome return and he replaces Cathal Hickey.
