The GAA have confirmed the draws for the All-Ireland SFC preliminary quarter-finals and Tailteann Cup semi-finals will be made on Monday morning.

The draws will take place on RTÉ Radio 1’s Morning Ireland at approximately 8.35am and presided over by Central Competitions Control Committee chairman Brian Carroll and Feargal McGill, the GAA's director of Player, Club and Games Administration.

The four second-placed teams in the All-Ireland SFC groups will have home advantage against the four third-placed counties in the last 12 matches on June 21 or 22.

Repeat provincial final pairings will be avoided and, where possible, repeat pairings from the group stages. Repeat pairings will also be avoided in the Tailteann Cup semi-final draw with those last-four fixtures set to be played in Croke Park the weekend after next.

Meanwhile, former Dublin defender Philly McMahon is the new manager of the Naas senior football team.

Eight-time All-Ireland SFC winner McMahon replaces Joe Murphy who left the position to take over his native Carlow in late March. Players were informed on Thursday night that the Ballymun Kickhams man will lead them in their defence of the Kildare senior football championship as they aim for a fifth consecutive county title.

McMahon had been linked with taking over Derry prior to Mickey Harte taking charge last year.
