Meabh Cahalane's mother was chatting to an uncle in America at the weekend, filling him in on how Cork had got on against Limerick.

Meabh captained the Cork camogie team to a landslide Round 1 win, setting them up nicely for this Saturday's anticipated stiffer test in Tipperary, though the result wasn't the main focus of the conversation.
