A Luke O’Brien-inspired Riverstown NS proved too strong for Gaelscoil Charraig Uí Leighin in the H1/DH1 decider.
Centre-forward O’Brien orchestrated much of what was good about the Riverstown performance and ran up a tally of 0-5 along the way.
He would trade scores with Gaelscoil free-taker Jake Ó Murchú throughout a relatively even first half, while Harrison O’Rourke also got his name on the scoresheet as Riverstown led 0-5 – 0-2 at the break.
That was as close as the Carrigaline school would get. A Goal from Ross Kearney and points from Luke Crowley and O’Rourke would stretch the Riverstown lead. Of course, O'Brien continued to do his bit from placed ball scenarios.
Ó Murchú, Scott de Faoite and Leo Ó Laoire would notch points for the Carrigaline boys, but a Dylan Barry goal ended their faint hopes of a comeback.
Luke O’Brien 0-5 (3f, 1 ’65), Dylan Barry, Ross Kearney 1-0 each, Harrison O’Rourke 0-2, Luke Crowley 0-1.
Jake Ó Murchú 0-3 (3f), Scott de Faoite, Leo Ó Laoire 0-1 each.

In a final contested by two hard-working outfits, it was Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin who came out on top to deny Riverstown NS.
An Órlaith Ní Chearnaigh goal would turn out to be the difference between to the schools. Ní Chearnaigh’s goal – a rasper that flew past Riverstown goalkeeper Ella Ryan’s right shoulder and into the side netting - came three minutes from full-time.
Despite the little time remaining, Riverstown did push for a winner late on but were denied by the Gaelscoil defence.
A low-scoring first half saw Elise Nic Eochaidh fire over two points for the Ballincollig school, but her efforts were matched by the accuracy of Olivia Morrissey.
Morrissey’s midfield partner Millie Allen would stretch the Riverstown lead after the interval, but Nic Eochaidh added a point to bring Gaelscoil within a point and Ní Chearnaigh did the rest.
Órlaith Ní Chearnaigh 1-0, Elise Nic Eochaidh 0-3 (1f).
Olivia Morrissey, Millie Allen (2f) 0-2 each.

Andrew O’Shaughnessy put on a free-taking clinic for his St Anthony’s BNS as the Ballinlough school overcame the challenge of Ballincollig’s Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin.
O’Shaughnessy accounted for 0-7 of his school’s total, with five of those coming from placed balls. Many of his efforts were from long-range, but more impressively, he was key around the park, notching two from play also.
GS Uí Ríordáin midfielder Daniel Ó Mathúna would prove to be a thorn in the winners’ side throughout. His ability around the field and free-taking prowess also came to the fore.
The two would battle throughout the opening half before Ó Mathúna turned provider as he linked with Naoise Ó Longaigh to set up Zach Holton for a fine goal, giving GS Uí Ríordáin the lead at half-time.
Holton, Ó Mathúna and O’Shaughnessy swapped scores before Wiliam Sullivan grabbed a crucial goal for St. Anthony’s.
The Ballinlough boys drove on from there, with the contributions of Luke Twohig, the O’Shaughnessys – Andrew and Bryan - and Harry Canty securing victory.
Andrew O’Shaughnessy (0-7, 5f), William Sullivan, Bryan O’Shaughnessy (1-0 each), Harry Canty, Luke Twohig (0-1 each).

St Patrick’s Girls were comprehensive winners in the Urban C2 decider thanks in no little part to the contributions of Ava Heaphy, Rachel Browne and Lyla Ward McCarthy.
Ward McCarthy scored the opening goal midway through the opening half, but it was followed shortly after by Kyra Maher Crinnion of Togher.
From that moment on, it was to be St Patrick’s day. Heaphy’s haul of three points, coupled with a 1-1 contribution from Browne and a Ward McCarthy point carried them over the line.
Kaci Walsh also helped the cause, while Izzy O’Driscoll McCarthy grabbed a consolation point for Togher at the end.
Lyla Ward McCarthy, Rachel Browne, (1-1 each), Ava Heaphy (0-3), Kaci Walsh (0-1).

A late, late show from Zach Duffy earned Togher the spoils in a thrilling encounter with Morning Star at Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Duffy moved inside to aid the Togher attack and with time running out, he registered a point to bring his side within one of Morning Star – who had enjoyed success earlier in the second-half.
Duffy then grabbed the winner well into added time. His finish high into the net ensured wild celebrations among his teammates and school peers alike.
Another to shine for Togher was goalkeeper Kaiden O’Mahony. He stopped countless goal-bound efforts from Morning Star throughout the opening half until Lucas Hogan grabbed a green flag.
Togher’s Isaac Kenneally and Conor Sheehan were the standouts for Togher in the first 20, helping their side to a two-point lead at half-time.

Then came the Morning Star burst. Two rapid-fire Jack English goals, coupled with an Aaron Kelleher long-range point flipped the script.
From there, a second Kenneally goal for Togher and another Sheehan placed-ball meant a tight finish was to come. Although Joey O’Neill put his Morning Star side two ahead with five to go, Duffy came up with the necessary goods.
Isaac Keanneally (2-0), Zach Duffy (1-2), Conor Sheehan (0-4, 1f, 2 ’65).
Jack English (2-0), Lucas Hogan (1-1), Aaron Kelleher (0-2, 1f), Joey O’Neill (0-1).
