Meath manager Robbie Brennan didn’t want to take away from Louth’s victory yet he couldn’t but question the validity of what turned out to be their winning two-point free.

For a borderline foul on Conal McKeever, Sam Mulroy converted the long-range kick to restore Louth’s lead, which they doubled with a Craig Lennon point and retained until the final whistle.
