Cork's Brian Hayes named to start Division 1A final despite knee injury

Despite his recent knee injury, in-form Brian Hayes has been named in Cork’s team to face Tipperary in Sunday’s Division 1A final in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

The St Finbarrs man, who has scored 5-7 across the six round stages, had been expected to miss the sold-out decider having come off in the second half of the county’s final round win over Galway last month.
