Derek Lyng wouldn’t say it was one of the toughest weeks he’s put down as Kilkenny manager but his satisfaction in finishing the league on a high was obvious.

After incurring three red cards against Tipperary last week and facing the possibility of going the campaign without a home win, this victory over Limerick was graciously received.
