Sligo boost survival hopes with crucial Clare scalp 

This result in splendid sunshine ended a winless run of three losses and one draw for Sligo and revives the Connacht county's survival hopes ahead of the final two rounds.

CLARE manager Peter Keane felt his side could have taken a point from Markievicz Park on Sunday in what proved a thriller that went the way of Sligo, who were relieved to chalk up their first win of the campaign.
