Galway manager Pádraic Joyce has made two changes from the side that started the win over Mayo last Sunday week for Saturday’s Allianz Division 1, Round 3 trip to Derry.
John Daly and Matthew Tierney come in for Daniel O’Flaherty and Cillian McDaid. While O’Flaherty is named on the bench, McDaid is not in the squad. Damien Comer is still not considered for inclusion.
Meanwhile, Tyrone boss Malachy O’Rourke have confirmed his panel for the remainder of the Division 1 campaign and championship. County champions Errigal Ciarán are best represented with five players followed by Trillick, Loughmacrory and Edendork with four.
The Ballygawley men could come into the reckoning for Sunday’s clash with Mayo in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park. Brothers Darragh and Ruairí Canavan have been following concussion protocols after suffering head injuries in last month’s All-Ireland final defeat to Cuala.
Mark Bradley remains in the set-up after leaving the panel following the 2021 season. Rory Brennan departed at the end of 2022 but is also on board.
