The GAA have defended their decision to charge for juveniles (U16s) to higher profile Allianz League games.

In December, Croke Park announced children would no longer gain free entry to Division 1 and 2 football and Division 1A and 1B hurling matches. Admission was fixed at €5 and could only be purchased alongside an adult ticket.
