Cahill shakes up Tipp selection for visit of Wexford

Liam Cahill has shaken up his Tipperary team for Sunday's visit of Wexford to Thurles in the National Hurling League.

Clonoulty Rossmore's Robert Doyle and Gavin O'Halloran have been handed their first starts in defence with Michael Corcoran and captain Ronan Maher dropping out.

Josh Keller will also make a full debut at wing-forward for Gearoid O'Connor while the experienced Jason Forde makes his seasonal return, replacing Dylan Walsh in the full-forward line.

Rookies Oisin O'Donoghue, David Nolan and Kieran Cummins are included in the 26.

Tipperary GAA have asked patrons to note that only the Old Stand in FBD Semple Stadium will be open for the Division 1A tie.

Meanwhile, Cork have altered the team they initially named for Saturday evening's glamour clash with Limerick. An injury has forced Robert Downey out of the reckoning so he is replaced by Luke Meade. Darragh Flynn joins the matchday 26.

Micheal Donoghue has responded to Galway's heavy Round 1 loss to Tipperary by making a whopping nine changes for Sunday's clash with Kilkenny.

Goalkeeper Darach Fahy, defenders Shane Morgan, Darren Morrissey, Padraic Mannion and Gavin Lee and forwards John Cooney, Tiernan Killeen, Conor Cooney and John Fleming have all been drafted in.

Fintan Burke, TJ Brennan, Cianan Fahy, Tom Monaghan, Oisin Lohan and captain Conor Whelan are the six players retained in the lineup.
