With the clock ticking down in Sunday’s All-Ireland senior hurling club championship final, Tom Brennan was substituted to a loud round of applause from the home support. He scored 2-1, the first goal killed off the game after 20 minutes, the second midway through the second half was the final nail in the coffin.
Stuff of dreams for the 22-year-old in his first championship start of the season.
