The first hurdle cleared. Austin Stacks advanced to the Munster IFC final with a well-earned 1-12 to 0-6 win over Kilshannig. The next task is to secure more silverware.

Due to their championship structures, Kerry intermediate and junior clubs are consistently contenders for All-Ireland titles. Billy Lee’s outfit will take on Tipperary’s Aherlow in the provincial decider. It means even more football in a county that already provides copious amounts of it.
