‘That is the stuff we need’ – Billy Lee happy with Kerry’s constant programme of games

Lee said his panel are "all eager and hungry" as their year continues with Munster and Tralee titles to be won.

The first hurdle cleared. Austin Stacks advanced to the Munster IFC final with a well-earned 1-12 to 0-6 win over Kilshannig. The next task is to secure more silverware.

Due to their championship structures, Kerry intermediate and junior clubs are consistently contenders for All-Ireland titles. Billy Lee’s outfit will take on Tipperary’s Aherlow in the provincial decider. It means even more football in a county that already provides copious amounts of it.
