Kilkenny’s Walter Walsh has announced his retirement from inter-county hurling at the age of 33. The news was delivered via the county board on Friday morning.
Walsh, the man of the match in the 2012 All-Ireland final replay win over Galway when he scored 1-3 having been a surprise starter, also claimed All-Irelands in 2014 and ’15.
