Eleven months ago, an entry in the Mayo County Boardâs 2023 financial accounts came to national attention in the GAA.
Under the âPAYE and related chargesâ, it was noted that âŹ119,778 had been paid to the Revenue Commissioners. Described as âa live caseâ and âextremely sensitiveâ by treasurer Valerie Murphy, she explained it related to a tax issue regarding payments of CĂșl Camp coaches.
