For three consecutive years, Eoghan Costelloe and his Adare teammates looked up at Newcastlewest captain Iain Corbett accept and lift the Fr Casey Cup.

Early yesterday evening, Costelloe looked down on his smiling Adare teammates. A very different vantage point to previous years. The folded piece of paper was required on this occasion. His opening line was a crowd winner.
