In a way these new rules are like a new player, the kind Jim Gavin and many of his colleagues on the FRC would routinely encounter as managers.
First you decide that they’re at least worth trialling to try to enhance your situation. Then you gauge if they’ve done enough to be kept on your panel for the national league panel. And then you’ve to make the big call and decide whether or not they make the cut for the championship. If they do, then they could be the making of your setup for years to come.
