The recovery powers of Damien and Conor Cahalane were lauded after they came off the bench to see out Castlehaven’s victory over St Finbarr’s.

Damien had featured in each of their group games but underwent a procedure on his knee after beating Carbery Rangers four weeks ago. He was fit enough to come on in the 56th minute to repel the Barrs’ late aerial assault.
