Last year’s beaten finalists Mid Kerry have drawn second favourites Dr Crokes in the second round draw made in the Austin Stack Pavilion on Sunday evening. This is the pick of the winners' group draw with favourites East Kerry looking good for a quarter-final spot as they are drawn against Milltown/Castlemaine who just beat Spa by a point on Sunday. St Kierans will face St Brendans in what promises to be a cracking contest while Shannon Rangers will face Templenoe with confidence under manager Pat O’Driscoll.
In the losers' group - where four teams will exit the SFC - Feale Rangers will take on Kenmare Shamrocks while Rathmore should have the measure of West Kerry despite losing to East Kerry by eight points. Dingle must improve but should beat a youthful South Kerry side while Spa and Na Gaeil face off, with Na Gaeil fancied to make their exit if Diarmuid O’Connor is still absent.
Mid Kerry V Dr Crokes
St Kierans v St Brendans
East Kerry v Milltown/Castlemaine
Shannon Rangers v Templenoe
Feale Rangers v Kenmare Shamrocks
Rathmore v West Kerry
South Kerry v Dingle
Spa v Na Gaeil
Games to played on Saturday and Sunday September 21/22nd.
The draw for the Tipperary SHC semi-finals will take place on Monday evening. Moycarkey-Borris and Thurles Sarsfields can't be drawn against each other as they already clashed in the group stages.

Mid Kerry are through to the winners round while Dingle head to the losers' side of the draw.
Castlehaven-Carbery Rangers was a big west Cork derby but the Haven merely maintained the form-line that has powered them through this championship to date, with a five-point win still making sure they already had enough scores in the bank to progress straight through to the semi-finals as the top seeded team.
Nemo Rangers - the only other team to have won their opening two matches - also made it three from three against Newcestown, and while their big win bumped up their scoring difference, it was still marginally inferior to Castlehaven’s, which sees Nemo through as the second-seeded team and a quarter-final meeting with Clonakilty.
The scrap for those remaining quarter-final places was an expected war, with every point registered almost as precious as the result. Just weeks after exiting the hurling championship and ending up in a battle to avoid relegation – despite being one of the favourites - St Finbarr’s made sure they avoided that doomsday scenario here with a 13-point win against Valley Rovers. Their prize now is a third-seed ranking and a quarter-final against Ballincollig.
The stakes were huge in the match-up between Ballincollig and Eire Óg, the classic local town-country rivalry, with Ballincollig’s seven point win sending them through as the fourth-seeded team, along with plunging Eire Óg into a relegation playoff.
Clonakilty went into their game against St Michael’s with just one point on the board but their 15 point win was massive in the context of them rapidly moving up the grid on scoring difference. Although Mallow lost to Douglas by five points, other results and their solid scoring difference coming into the match made sure they were able to stave off the threat of being leapfrogged and securing that last quarter final spot. They now meet the divisional side Muskerry in the quarter-final. After a miserable campaign to date, Douglas ended the summer on a decent note as they avoided the relegation playoff, which will now be contested by Eire Óg and Carbery Rangers.
Semi-final top seeds: Castlehaven
The quarter-final line-up: Nemo Rangers v Clonakilty; St Finbarr’s v Ballincollig; Mallow v Muskerry

Cork PSFC quarter-final line-up:
— Eoghan Cormican (@cormicaneoghan) September 15, 2024
Nemo v Clon
Barrs v Ballincollig
Mallow v Muskerry
Castlehaven straight into semis as top seeds from the group phase
FT: St Finbarr's 4-12 Valley Rovers 0-11
The Barrs began the day third in Group C and on the brink of group stage elimination. The finish the day top of Group C and headed for a quarter-final against Ballincollig.
Valley Rovers slip from second to third in the group. Mallow's defeat in the other group game meant that had Valleys lost by only three here, they'd have gone through on score difference.
FT: Nemo Rangers 2-11 Newcestown 0-11
Goals from Barry Cripps and Bryan Hayes hardly tell the story of a dominating victory for Nemo Rangers over Newcestown. The Cork kingpins dominated this fixture from the first minute, and Mark Cronin led the line with 0-5 scored by the Cork forward.
22': Mid Kerry 1-5 Dingle 3-2
Ciaran Kennedy gets a badly needed goal for Mid Kerry.
FT: Thurles Sarsfields 0-29 Nenagh Éire Óg 1-19
Nenagh's 52nd minute goal offered a ray of light but Thurles Sarsfields were far too powerful and will be considered the favourites going into Monday night's semi-final draw.
FT: Clonakilty 2-18 St Michael's 1-6
A late goal for St Michael's from sub Eoghan Buckley. Clon finish second in Group 2 and through to the quarter-final.
FT: Douglas 0-14 Mallow 0-9
Cork senior hurler Shane Kingston was on form for Douglas, scoring 0-5 in Grenagh. Douglas should be safe. The Barrs win over Valleys should Mallow have qualified.
18': Mid Kerry 0-4 Dingle 3-2
Clonakilty 2-17 St Michael's 1-6
FT: Nemo Rangers 2-11 Newcestown 0-11
12': Mid Kerry 0-3 Dingle 2-2
Super game as Austin Stack Park.
53': Thurles Sarsfields 0-23 Nenagh Éire Óg 1-17
Substitute Adam Healy has found the Thurles net and Nenagh have tagged on a free and are only three points behind
55': Castlehaven 0-13 Carbery Rangers
Haven remain comfortable five point leaders in scrappy second half.
Fourth goal for the Barrs. Enda Dennehy the provider.

46': Thurles Sarsfields 0-23 Nenagh Éire Óg 0-16
Fourteen minutes left and Thurles Sarsfields in full control, 0-23 to 0-16 ahead. Three of their players have each registered four points from play - Liam McCormack, Eoin Purcell and Stephen Cahill. Nenagh need a goal.
45': Douglas 0-11 Mallow 0-5
Two from Colm Joyce and Shane Kingston's fourth have Douglas onto 0-11, three from Sean McDonnell has Mallow onto 0-5. 15 to play in Grenagh.
45': Clonakilty 2-13 St Michael's 0-6
40': St Finbarr's 3-8 Valley Rovers 0-8
Barrs defender Colm Scully, for the second game in succession, is sent off on two bookable offences. Barrs, for the second game in succession, must play the last 20 minutes with 14 men.
37' Douglas 0-10 Mallow 0-3
34': St Finbarr's 3-7 Valley Rovers 0-7
A third goal for the Barrs. Ethan Twomey's inviting ball in is palmed to the net by Steven Sherlock for his second. The Barrs lead extends to nine. Sherlock's personal tally extends to 2-3 (two frees).
38': Castlehaven 0-12 Carbery Rangers 0-6
Seamus Hayes made three changes at the break and they have had the desired effect. John Hodnett and John O’Rourke (free) scores reduced the deficit. Rory Maguire has continued his forays forward however, and the centre-back floated over his fourth point to make it 0-12 to 0-6 after 38 minutes.

Goals key for Newmarket's win as Clyda set for relegation battle
36': Clonakilty 2-11 St Michael’s 0-5
HT: Clonakilty 2-7 St Michael’s 0-4
A goal after four minutes from Darragh Gough laid the platform for a strong first-half performance from Clonakilty in Bandon in Group 2 of the Cork Premier SFC.
They went on to lead 1-5 to 0-3 after 23 minutes, and they further strengthened their position 60 seconds later when Maurice Shanley was at the end of a three-man-move to fire Clon’s second goal.
St Michael’s have been unable to make any sort of headway in this half.
With no elements to factor in, it is advantage Clonakilty.
HT: Douglas 0-8 Mallow 0-2
Douglas have put in their best 30 minutes of football this season to lead Mallow at halt time in Grenagh. Colm Joyce for Douglas and Ryan Harkin for Mallow had the sides level at 0-1 each after 13 minutes, but from there, the city side, with the aid of the breeze, were far the better team.
Shane Kingston kicked 0-3 from centre forward, 0-2 from play, Brian Hartnett kicked the last two of the half while Sean Powter, and Aaron Sheehy were also on target. All Mallow had in response was a Mark Tobin free, though they kicked six wides while Sean McDonnell hit the post.
Mallow still just about have the edge on Valley Rovers, as things stand.
HT: Nemo Rangers 1-05 Newcestown 0-06
David Buckley gave the newly promoted side an early lead with a fine score from open play and Barry Cripps responded for Nemo with a goal-bound shot that went in off the underside of the crossbar. A shoot-out ensured and Newcestown will feel hard done by at the break as they hit eight wides over the first half hour of play.
HT: Thurles Sarsfields 0-15 Nenagh Éire Óg 0-11
Thurles are scoring in flurries and they deservedly take a four-point advantage going into the break in an entertaining Tipperary SHC quarter-final. There have been some notable individual displays from Nenagh players like Tommy Heffernan and Sam O’Farrell but Thurles are playing more as a collective. Their movement had made Nenagh look sluggish at times and Stephen Cahill is one player who has taken advantage with three points.
Scorers for Thurles Sarsfields: A. McCormack (0-4, 3 frees); S. Cahill (0-3); D. Stakelum, L. McCormack, E. Purcell (0-2 each); C. Moloney, P. Creedon (0-1 each).
Scorers for Nenagh Éire Óg: M. Heffernan (frees), S. O’Farrell, T. Heffernan (0-3 each); J. Morris (0-2).

HT: St Finbarr's 2-7 Valley Rovers 0-6.
As matters stand, the Barrs are heading for the knockout stages.
Four-in-a-row from Valley Rovers had the gap back to four, 1-6 to 0-5. But on the half hour mark, Ian Maguire and Sherlock played a beat one-two before Maguire offloaded to Brian Hayes for a simple tap in Barrs goal. All of Valleys good work undone.
HT: Castlehaven 0-11 Carbery Rangers 0-4
Castlehaven are full value for their first half lead. Dominant from the opening minute and limiting their opponents to three points from open play. It's a stop-start game with both sides shuffling into defensive mode and looking to counter-attack. Haven well in control, have forced more turnovers and taken their chances.
28': Clonakilty 2-7 St Michael's 0-4
26': Clonakilty 2-6 St Michael's 0-2
Maurice Shanley scores Clon's second goal.
19': Castlehaven 0-6 Carbery Rangers 0-2
The Haven are dictating the pace and tempo. Jack Cahalane’s second point followed a Brian Hurley free. Carbery Rangers getting numbers behind the ball, as are their opponents, making scores hard to come by. Still, the Haven are dominating and in control.
Valley Rovers were listening to us. Ciarán McCarthy with his second and his team's first from play. 1-6 to 0-2.
22' St Finbarr's 1-6 Valley Rovers 0-1
Points in quick succession from Cillian Myers Murray and John Wigginton Barrett shoves the Barrs out to an eight point lead. Valleys yet to score from play.
21': Clonakilty 1-4 St Michael's 0-2
FT: Rathmore 2-12 East Kerry 4-16
FT: St Brendan's 1-16 South Kerry 0-13
Good showing from St. Brendan's, especially in the second half. Jack Savage was the best player on the pitch.
15': Douglas 0-3 Mallow 0-1
Back to back points from Aaron Sheehy and Shane Kingston have Douglas ahead.
15': Thurles Sarsfields 0-8 Nenagh Éire Óg 0-7
Entertaining opening 15 minutes in the fourth of the Tipperary SHC quarter-finals. Thurles Sarsfields have a one-point advantage. Jake Morris has shown flashes of brilliance and picked off a couple of lovely points. Thurles hit Nenagh for four points in a row but the latter have just had a couple of goal chances kept out.
St Finbarrs 1-3 Valley Rovers 0-1
Steven Sherlock goal on 12 minutes. Brings his tally to 1-2. Barrs lead Valleys 1-3 to 0-1.
10': Castlehaven 0-3 Carbery Rangers 0-1
Rory Maguire opens the scoring but three missed opportunities means the Haven should be further ahead before Jack O’Neill doubles their lead. Patrick Hurley gets Ross off the mark but Jack Cahalane replies instantly.
52': Rathmore 2-12 East Kerry 4-14
Kerry goalkeeper Shane Ryan, playing at full-forward for Rathmore, gets his side's second goal.
Steven Sherlock and Cillian Myers Murray have the Barrs 0-2 to 0-1 ahead seven minutes in. Ciarán McCarthy with the Valley Rovers opener from a mark.
Clonakily 1-1 St Michael's 0-1
Darragh Gough got he goal for Clon.
50': St Brendan's 1-13 South Kerry 0-11
Team news from Douglas vs Mallow: Nathan Walsh out for Douglas, Shane Aherne in. Sam Copps out for Mallow, Jamie O'Keeffe in.
Clonakilty v St Michael's
Clonakilty 15 as per programme.
One change to St Michael’s with Eoin De Burca replacing the injured Eoin Hickey.
42' Rathmore 1-11 East Kerry 4-10
The goals are flying in at Fitzgerald Stadium. Ciaran Collins got Rathmore's and Paudie Clifford got East Kerry's fourth.
42': St Brendan's 1-10 South Kerry 0-8
36': Rathmore 0-11 East Kerry 3-9
It had been a decent start to the second half for Rathmore but then East Kerry plundered two goals, the first from Luke Crowley, son of Kerry great Johnny Crowley and the second by Emmett O'Shea.
Kanturk maintained their remarkable progress in both codes with a third win on the trot against Fermoy, which has now seen them march straight into a semi-final as the top seeded team, which is all the more welcome again with so many dual players out next week in their Premier SHC quarter-final.
Knocknagree and Bishopstown were already sure of their place in the knockout stages but this match decided the group winners. A draw would have been enough for Knocknagree but their win also sees them march into the semi-final as the second-seeded team, just ahead of Carrigaline on points difference.
With their points difference effectively the same, and with both teams having won their opening two-games, Carrigaline topped Group 1 in their winner-take-all clash against Cill na Martra, which sees them ranked as the third seeded team. They meet Bishopstown in the quarter-final. Cill na Martra, who finished as the fifth-seeded team, meet Dohenys in the quarter-final, with Dohenys finishing fourth by one point in scoring difference.
Dohenys will go into that fixture with huge momentum after whacking O’Donovan Rossa in what was effectively a straight knockout game, but Dohenys secured more than just the bragging rights with a highly impressive nine points win.
Meanwhile, Newmarket’s win against Clyda Rovers, steered them away from the trapdoor and plunged Rovers a step closer to that dreaded drop. It’s unknown who they will face yet as the Kiskeam-Ballingeary match scheduled for today has been put back until next weekend. Fermoy also finished up pointless after their defeat to Kanturk but they still have a good chance of staying away from that relegation decider as their scoring difference is far better than Clyda Rovers, while they are more or less level on points difference with Ballingeary, and seven points ahead of Kiskeam, should Kiskeam and Ballingeary finish pointless.
Semi-final top seeds: Kanturk
Semi-final second seeds: Knocknagree
The quarter-final line up: Carrigaline v Bishopstown; Dohenys v Cill na Martra.
Relegation playoff: Clyda Rovers will meet one of Fermoy/Kiskeam or Ballingeary.

Kilruane's goal is cancelled out by Loughmore-Castleiney's substitute Ciaran McCormack. Liam McGrath makes the mistake of Kilruane's errant puckout and passes to McCormack.

10 minutes to play and despite missing a penalty, Templenoe have turned it around against Feale Rangers. They had trailed by three at half-time.
Doonbeg preserve senior status in Clare with a 1-10 to 0-11 over Kilmihil. Kilmihil now face Corofin in relegation decider.
HT: Kilruane McDonaghs 0-11 Loughmore-Castleiney 0-11
Kilruane have been slightly the better team. Their half-forward line has been dominant in the air but they have been slightly more wasteful than their mid-Tipp opponents.
Loughmore-Castleiney came closest to scoring a goal on two occasions. Tommy Maher had a shot cleared off the line and just before the break John McGrath’s goalbound shot was parried over the bar by Páidí Williams.
Kilruane MacDonaghs’s best spell came in the middle of the half when they hit their opponents for four points without reply. After some early wides, Jerome Cahill was winning frees while Thomas Cleary was so effective as a target man for his team’s puck-outs.
They went three points ahead on a couple of occasions, the latter in the 25th minute when Kian O’Kelly converted a point off his knees. However, Loughmore-Castleiney finished the stronger with John McGrath popping up twice and Tommy McGrath equalising in additional time.
Scorers for Loughmore-Castleiney: J. McGrath (0-6, 4 frees, 1 65); N. McGrath, T. Maher, E. Meagher, E. Connolly, T McGrath (0-1 each).
Scorers for Kilruane MacDonaghs: W. Cleary (0-5, frees); C. Darcy (0-2); T. Cleary, A. Morgan, N. O’Meara, K. O’Kelly (0-1 each).
HT: Knocknagree 1-7 Bishopstown 0-4
Mike Mahoney’s goal for Knocknagree on the stroke of half-time has put daylight between the sides. Accurate free-taker Anthony O’Connor has contributed five of his side’s total.

Loughmore-Castleiney 0-7 to 0-6
After 15 minutes, Kilruane MacDonaghs lead Loughmore-Castleiney by a point in today's first Tipperary SHC quarter-final in Thurles. Kilruane's puck-outs have worked well although Jerome Cahill already has three wides to his name.
Cill na Martra 0-10 Carrigaline 1-4.
25 minutes gone. Cill na Martra moving the ball well through the lines and clinical in front of the posts, with Daniel Ó Duinnín getting four from play already. Carrigaline’s goal arrived in the 11th minute through Darragh Kingston with Brian Coakley assisting his close-range finish.
FT: Milltown-Castlemaine 2-11 Spa 0-16
A strong second half from Milltown-Castlemaine sees them beat Spa by a point at Fitzgerald Stadium. They had trailed the Killarney side by four at the break but came back to claimed a victory that sends them into the winners' round.
Knocknagree 0-03 Bishopstown 0-03.
All square between already qualified sides Knocknagree and Bishopstown after 15 minutes at Clondrohid. Pick of the scores has come from Bishopstown corner back Michael Power.
