Mickey Graham is set to be appointed as the new Leitrim senior football boss.

The former Cavan manager - who was outgoing boss Andy Moran's assistant throughout the last term - will take over for the next three years, subject to county board approval.

Graham was in charge of Cavan from 2019 to 2023, in which time he led his side to the Ulster title in 2020.

Graham will fill his backroom team vacancies once officially announced as Moran's replacement.

A Leitrim GAA statement on the matter read: "Leitrim GAA at its Management Committee meeting tonight approved the appointment of Cavan native Mickey Graham to be the Leitrim senior football team manager for the 2025 season.

"This is subject to approval at the next meeting of Coiste Chontae Liatroma. It is the intention that this position will be for the next three years, subject to review.

"Leitrim GAA would like to take this opportunity to wish Mickey the very best of luck as he plans for the upcoming season."
