Last Friday, my teammates and I were invited to attend the 2024 GPA Football Legends Lunch which recognised the achievements of six ladies football and six male football All-Ireland winning teams through the decades from 1964-2014 which included our 2014 Cork Ladies Football team.

There were Kerry players from the great 1984 team like Mary Jo Curran, along with players from the Galway side which won their first All-Ireland in 2004, like their captain Annette Clarke.
