The winners of the Cork and Clare senior hurling championships will meet in the semi-final of this year's Munster club hurling championship.

The representatives of both counties received a bye to the semi-final stage due to their qualification for the All-Ireland SHC final. And at last Thursday's draw conducted at a meeting of the Munster CCC, the counties were pitted together in the last four.

The Limerick champions will have a home fixture versus the Waterford representatives in the quarter-final with the Tipperary champions awaiting the winner in the other semi-final.

In football, Clare’s champions will host the Limerick champions in the first quarter-final with the Tipperary champions awaiting the winner in the semi-final.

At the other side of the draw, the Kerry representatives will host the Cork representatives in a quarter-final with the Waterford champions awaiting the winner.

The AIB Munster Club Championships will get underway on the weekend of November 2/3. All games will be played to a result on the day.
