Down's need greater but what's the masterplan?

Down, strong favourites, return to Croke Park needing to win this one. Laois would love to win but it's not quite a need, not just yet.

The Down squad broke into two groups for a training game last weekend with a clear message from management that Tailteann Cup final places were on the line.

"We asked them to put their best foot forward and to leave that day knowing that in your stomach you had given yourself the best chance to play in Croke Park," said manager Conor Laverty.
