THE Ladies football quarter finals weekend has arrived. The weekend where if there is even a sniff of complacency or a slight lapse in concentration, you could find yourself out on your ear and head scratching into the autumn.

Despite all we achieved with the Cork ladies football team, all the golden moments we crafted, the most painful memory of all is the one most deeply burned into our collective consciousness. Why? Because it was also the making of us.
