Before his glorious return, Jim McGuinness was a figure of nostalgia in Donegal, a symbol of the good ol' days that fans could look back on with fond memories.

The 2012 All-Ireland winning manager not only inspired his county to glory over 10 years ago, but also planted the seed of ambition in young Donegal fans, who dreamed one day of emulating that success.
